Build Orders & Progression

Detailed progression guide from Day 1 to Day 17+, helping you survive every stage.

Early Game (Days 1-5)

Economy foundation & Survival

Economy First

Prioritize Gold and Faith income. Build basic generation buildings ASAP. Don't overspend on temporary units.

Basic Defense

A few walls and basic ranged units (Archers) are enough. Don't over-invest in defense yet; focus on income.

Hero Choice

Pick an early-game focused hero if possible. Someone with decent damage or early buffs makes these days smoother.

Mid Game (Days 6-12)

Specialize & Upgrade

Start Specializing

Look at your hero and units. Decide on a build direction (e.g., specific unit type, damage type, or strategy like minion spam).

Upgrade Key Buildings

Upgrade Gold/Faith and unit production buildings. Invest in buildings that unlock better units for your strategy.

Late Game (Days 13-17+)

Synergies & Advanced Units

Advanced Economy

Solid income allows fielding and upgrading advanced units fitting your build.

Synergies

Look for synergies between hero abilities, units, and relics. This is where real power comes from.

Elites/Bosses

Ensure your build can deal with high-health targets or specific threats.

Pro Tips

Food Management

Stable 'okay' food is better than aiming for perfect food and starving. Fish is great early on.

Don't Fear Restart

If a run goes badly, restarting and applying what you've learned is often better.

Coin for XP

Spend excess coin on unit XP. It's more efficient than perfect food. Day 1 decorations and castle upgrades provide enough income to buy XP daily.
